All is not well in the land of eyelids. Matts surgery unfortunately did NOT work. It actually has made his once droopy but not so bad eye even droopier. The Dr. was not happy at all. He could not explain why 3 weeks out the eyelid was still swollen. He has never seen this happen before and he was extremely apologetic. It makes me sad that all this was really for nothing. It has made his eye worse than it was before. And for what? To go through the pain of ANOTHER surgery?!? Another surgery is in the near future for the fact that we went to the eye VISION Dr and he has actually lost some vision in his now droopier eye. It breaks my heart....to pieces. We put him through sooooo much pain for it to not even work a little tiny bit. I wasn't looking for perfection i was just looking to make it a smidgen higher than what it was before so he wouldn't loose vision. Now its droopier and he has LOST even more vision. Matt has a Dr appointment on Monday with the surgeon and i guess we'll just have to go from there.
In better news Matt can now ride a bicycle....of course with training wheels. He is soo cute when he figured it out. He is on the move. At first it was really hard for him to steer but he figured it out and was avoiding the pot holes on our street. It was cute when he was on the pavement because he would CRUUUUZ!!!!!! Super cute
Matt has also gotten to a really cute stage. He has the whole head tilt to the side arms out with one eye closed and proceeds to tell us in his little tiny Matt voice what is wrong or how we have done it wrong. Hes also gotten to the point of where if we tell him he needs to do something he will slap his hands down very adamantly and tell us "already did", like he thinks we'll really buy that one LOL.
