Summer

Well we have made it a few more months alas no post. Nothing to medically serious on the home front. Matt has captured a few little colds but nothing to great or worisome. This last weekend though we thought he was getting chicken pox so we took him in. The great and wonderful wise dr (being HIGHLY sarcastic) at urgent care confirmed chicken pox. On Monday afternoon we realized they were NOT chicken pox but he has hand-foot-mouth. Just as bad and i feel horrible because they are on the bottom of Matt's feet and he has such a hard time. You can tell they bother him but hopefully they go away soon. So back to that great DR at urgent care. HA. So we sit there and wait and wait some more. We could hear him on the phone with someone talking about flights to AZ. I mean seriously wrap up the phone call. It wasnt like he was trying to hurry or anything or be quiet about it. The talk involved the flights and flowers and kids. Ryan wasnt too happy and it was getting pretty irritating. So in he walks and the first thing that even comes out of his mouth is "Oh he has a droopy eye"...yeah no duh we know that. "Yes i reply he just has a droopy eye"...."Does he have Down Syndrome?" he asks....are you F*ing kidding me!! "Um no he just has a droopy eye"....were not here for the eye if you look at the chart if we were here for the eye i would have elabortated. "Does he have any developmental delays"...ok come on were not here for a checkup or to discuss something that our regular Dr is well aware of..."No delays other than speach" i say...."Well thats a developmental delay"....i mean come on i just want to punch the guy i'm sure Ryan was ready to strangle him. Look a the chart. We are here for CHICKEN POX!! He then asks ok so you think you have chicken pox. He looks at them yeah they look like hand foot mouth but i would say they are chicken pox. But they kind of look like hand foot mouth. Well seriously come on which one is it. Whats the difference. FREAKING A!! Incompitent people who seem to have no idea what they are talking about. Geesh. So in the end it wasnt chicken pox it was hand foot mouth only AFTER we called Matt's regular Dr on monday to see if we could either come in or which one was going around. So we have scheduled around this week since Matt cant go to daycare. AAAh.

Other than that hes him normal self. Funny hillarious. And just plain Matt. Since summer is here Matt's hair has grown more and more thus having a long haired kid. He gets sooo hot and sick but i feel like we are taking him in allll the time to get it cut. So on fathers day i got brave and cut his hair. Its short. And when i say short its pretty short. He looks like a totally different kid. Since i had the clippers out i cut Ryan's hair too since it needed cut as well. For my first time doing it it turned out really good. I was pretty proud of myself. It blends in well and you would never know it was my first time. I'll get some pictures up as soon as i take some. I have the day off tomorrow so we can enjoy it outside (weather permitting) and catch some pictures all in one!!
