Matt is growing and growing. We went in on the 8th for his 9month check up. He weighed 18#11 oz!! and was 28inches long. Its crazy to think he was a fraction of that. Everything checked out. He looks good. Matt had another cold when we went and its just got worse not better over the week. His cough changed and his nose was horrible so we went in and saw our favorite Dr. Dr. K. is so great with him...she was there when he was born and she was just amazing considering all that went on with him. AND she still remembers him. Crazy!! They gave him some antibiotics again and as of right now it has seemed to clear up whatever he had. Next time i go in I'm going to ask if he was tested for CF. It worried me because every time he gets a cold it goes straight to his chest and his mucus drainage is HORRIBLE!! SO much was going on when he was born and afterwards that it was further from my mind then the moment i was in.
Matt now has 3 bottom teeth!! Hes starting to chew on more food. He loves the little weenies...and they really aren't that bad. Hes a crawler. He moves and gets into EVERYTHING!!! He has burned his hand on the stove. Bad mother i know. He stuck his finger in between the door and the drawer and the stove was still hot. He burned just the top of two fingers so it wasn't too bad. He has an appt of Friday with the physical therapist to see about his foot and what can be done. I know its a problem...or it will turn into a problem if he doesn't get a brace or something on it. I do not want to wait and see if it will correct its self when he starts walking. Hes trying to hard to walk right now but because of his foot he just cant get the right balance. For those of you who are wondering about his foot...his right foot sticks out the the side at a right angle. I cant wait to see....I'm being proactive because I'm not having my son go through surgery later in life because his foot his messed up. Matt has also learned to hold on to the side of his crib while standing up and jump up and down. He thinks this is funny. I on the other hand do no. I'm going to lower the bed now even more. He also started daycare last week. I know how can i pay for it. Well i was hoping by now i would have a job but hes only going part time so i think i might be able to do it with Ryan's help. Its good for him to be socialized anyways with other kids and other people so hes not afraid to be left with them. He seems to be doing good though. I got no phone calls so that's more than i can ask for.
On to other pressing news. Were going to SEATTLE!!! YAY!! I cant wait. Me and my sister and Matt are leaving on Friday to go spend the weekend in Seattle. I have a wedding to go to on Sat. so I'm really excited to do that then Sunday i think were just going to spend the day in downtown Seattle and bum around. The most important thing we'll be doing is going to the Seattle Aquarium. It will be so much fun. Matt loves our fish tank and will stand there for a long time looking at it and tapping the tank. They have remodeled so it should be fun. I'm also really excited to get another onsie that has Seattle on it. We have one that my cousins got from Australia and i love it. So cute. Were going to go to Pike Place Market as well. I'm just so excited it should be so much fun. I love going over there....seeing family and just enjoying a place that is so much fun to visit.
Fathers day was fine. Matt got his dad a really nice gas BBQ. Other than that it was fine. Actually it was probably the worst day I've had but I'm not going to elaborate at all.
Life is going good. I love watching Matt grow everyday. Hes such a ham and a goofball...i love it. Hes just great. I couldn't ask for more...or a better son. Hes starting to play more independently and i love that.
I will try my best to post more often but as you all know life gets in the way sometimes and its just not as easy as we all would like.
