Weekend

I posted a bit about how our weekend went but not too much. Saturday we got the joy of waking up at 4 in the am to get ready to be in Moscow by 9:30 for Katies graduation from U of I. Matt slept most of the way so that was good. Everything went smooth. We dropped my grandma off at the front of the Kibbie dome so she wouldnt have to walk but we sent her up the wrong way. Instead of making her walk all the way down the hill again and back up a little one we just walked in thinking they had a little bridge to cross from one side to the other. Well the used to but they are doing renovations on the Kibbie so poor grandma had to walk down a million steps, across the field and back up half a flight of stairs. Poor grandma was she worn out. THe graduation went great all except for the guest speaker who went on and on and on and on. It seriously took him over an hour for his speach....why cant they just pick a student who has excelled and went above and beyond the expectations....they always keep it short because they want to graduate. Oh wells. It went great and she walked and it was fun!! Oh how i miss Moscow!! I want to make it my home...maybe when i'm all done going through my RN program...when and if i ever get in and do classes. Its a great place to raise a kid and there is so much to learn and do PLUS you can walk anywhere...the town is small and compact you can walk from one end to the other. I just love it so much. The only thing i missed this time was visiting the Clary's. I wish i had more time and could have...although i saw Kevin so i told him to tell the family hi for me. Sunday was pretty uneventfull...i stayed in my jammies all day....Matt slept a little as did I in the big blue chair.....i love that chair. It is my hero.
