Crawling

So Matt is a silly boy. He'll find something he wants and boy does he get it....its like hes on a mission, nothing can stop him. He has the object in his sights and by golly does he crawl like a mad man for it. Sometimes he'll get deterred by another object but he'll refocus and off he goes again. Hes a crazy boy lemme tell ya.

So Matt sleeps with me...yes i know he should be sleeping in his crib, last night we successfully slept in the crib till ~3am....so that's good. Anyways he sleeps with me at night...if he falls asleep before I'm ready he'll go in the crib till I'm ready and if hes still sleeping I'll just let him sleep in there. So i was ready for bed and i put him in my bed...covered him all up then i realized i needed to go to the bathroom and brush my teeth so off i go. I go out to the living room to get a drink after I'm done and i start doing blood pressure of the people still awake. I hear Matt wake up and start grumbling so i kinda take my time putting stuff away thinking that hes in the crib. I walk into my room and hes on his belling on the arm of my recliner!! He had crawled all the way across the bed...over my comforter that i had piled up and across the gap in between the bed and the chair. It was a sight to see and i have no learner my lesson that he is a big boy now and will be sleeping in the crib. Its a wonder that he didn't fall between the gap onto the floor. Like i said hes a man on a mission and he doesn't stop no matter whats in his way.

So i've learned this week that little boys have a mission so dont get in their way and that my little baby is growing up before my eyes...how sad but exciting
